  • @
@shaziairfan30last year Pep was like "never let them know your next move" 4576
  • @
@aquatics1nthatrpics51last year Other managers would've lied as to why he did it. Man's a genius. 3108
  • @
@shirshabarua8992last year I found this comment in another video:
Haaland should score an own goal in the UCL final to keep Pep hungry for the next UCL

@Monkey_gamer.123last year Nobody could stop him , only the manager could 854
  • @
@Mato_patolast year Pep is smart. He’s making haaland hungry for more goals 725
  • @
@madypathaklast year Pep said "If he reaches this milestone this early in his career, it would be boring for him" he wants Haaland to keep hunger to keep breaking records great manager ❤ 723
  • @
@justagamer1308last year Pep had to sub him for playing too good💀 94

  • @
@uzairlakha5730last year Even Pep is trying to convert Haaland to a human. 61
  • @
@sarthaksharma5772last year Or maybe, he doesn't want his star player to be injured and/or tired for an already won game 442
  • @
@doctornochu3092last year that's ridiculous, imagine haaland scoring 91 goals in a single calendar year and pep subs him cuz he wants him to stay hungry. Moments like these don't come around very often to break the GOAT's record. 30
  • @
@julienr5613last year If Haaland stayed and got injured, people would have said guardiola is dumb for not subbing him 74
  • @
@nate1614last year Meanwhile Messi not caring about the record... 56
  • @
@dash4878last year This shows his love for his most loyal and greatest student ever created 5
  • @
@Vedant24_last year Messi was also about 24-25 when he did it 😂 71
  • @
    @tirthankardas3942last year Messi was always fed with a golden spoon...&still he's being protected....what a GOAT...😅 41
  • @
@kjromlast year Pep has always been that way, remember he was the guy who kicked out Ronaldinho out of Barca because Ronaldinho had this problem, Guardiola knows football. Players stop caring when they've won too much, so this is believable. Guardiola has no reason to "protect Messi's records". Haaland scored 5 but can still improve it doesn't have to get over his head remember that he scored 5 while recording 30 touches in the entire match, very low participation, meaning that he was supplied with very clear chances, he didn't make the chances himself. Probably best striker at the moment but he needs to keep pushing and keep his ambition to improve, not start believing that he is already the best. ... 32
  • @
@yashchakravarty513last year That's true lmao , he just didn't want him to surpass Messi 😂 9
  • @
@Your_piggypallast year I also agree that pep did that just to save Messi's record 2
  • @
@lakersrdbestlast year Pep is a genius! Rare coaching tactics! People that don't understand, will always hate 1
  • @
@minijeff5300last year But it works tho, if you know you are close to achieving something and they set you back or give you “obstacles” if you really want it, u will strive for that hunger of wanting more and doing better to make it happen 12
  • @
@HaalandVikinglast year Clearly he was half joking. He wants to give over players a chance to play, rest key guys for a long season, and not humiliate the other team. 7
  • @
@homtolland9361last year This has to be real cuz the strategies and tactics of one of the best manager’s in the world is just insane 1
  • @
    @andril954last year Congratulations!
Your mob, robot: "Haaland" has just upgraded!
    1
  • @
@todochannel9771last year There are many things i feel was involved
Firstly Alvarez contract extension if he hadn't substituted Haaland maybe Alvarez would've been pissed off, secondly it was just getting ridiculous and when you have a team filled with superstars, top quality players it would have created some kinda negative impact on team.... So there'd be many factors involved and i feel Haaland knew well before he'd be substituted ...

  • @
@leoparth_0773last year Messi and Ronaldo reached at many milestones at the age of 22 or 23 so why is he stopping Haaland ??
I believe it was a personal reason
    4
  • @
@alex0O0Olast year Pep is preparing Haaland for Real Madrid 💀 2
  • @
@Pal_editslast year Now imagine he scores 6 goals against pep's man city in champions league final 😂😂 2
  • @
@dardardar1215last year its really a weird thing why wouldn't you let your player break the record 39
  • @
@syqo5231last year Peps the best coach in terms of making players do even more for him
  • @
@onyechiejordan2857last year when he substituted Halland, it dawned on me that he didn't want Halland to break Messi's record. 1
  • @
@APOCALYPSE2385_last year Haaland should demand a trade imagine your own coach stopping you from breaking a record everyone knew you were about to break. Who needs enemies with friends like that 13
  • @
@x229d_ssu9last year Bro could scored 7 goals that game wtf is that excuse. 3
  • @
@JNS722last year Man really said their was 30 minutes left in the match, their was 10 minutes left for haaland to score one more goal 7
  • @
@abhidiptyabasaklast year PEP THE GOAT MANAGER. HE STOOD LOYAL TO HIS BEST COACHED PLAYER EVER. 7
  • @
@joshazaka6636last year He basically said in other words he wants to blue balls Haaland for the rest of his life in terms of breaking goal scoring records😂 1
  • @
@itsport8829last year I means he’s not wrong and his “intentions” were there but at the same time if someone earns something after working hard then who are you to stop them from getting their praise/acknowledgment… especially since there’s reason to believe his real intention was to keep Halland from breaking messi record… which is a lame thing to do ... 11
  • @
@daniellampard9463last year Pep loves Haaland, but he loves Messi more and wants to protect Messi's records 18
  • @
@Magicjoe24last year Seriously I wanted Haaland to score six or seven 1
  • @
@josemou6172last year Its obvious. At this point im really trying to find one thing messi has thats truly deserved. Its like everything is set up for him, even the records. 1
  • @
@fessali5726last year It’s about keeping him fresh. He would have taken him off if he had 1 or 2 goals. 3
  • @
@jahames556last year That’s actually a 1000 iq move from Pep. Now Haaland will do that more often 7
  • @
@pao2725last year Pep just made Erling have a reason to do it again 2
  • @
@goofyaahorange7586last year Pep is telling the truth. As a Man City fan since 2016, I know that he would keep Haaland hungry. Haaland got here this year and already has that chemistry. Imagine in 2 years🤯 8
  • @
@chhanachangsan976last year Pep loves Pessi that's why he subbed Halland 1
  • @
@aakashyadav1740last year It's called respect bro .......cause Messi is still playing and he just wanted to record hold by the goat 🐐 untill he retire this is respect 2
  • @
@mbuclinton3603last year It wasn’t for him to decide when! Nevertheless I wish Haaland has this same opportunity again. 3
  • @
@uchihakyojin7393last year Pep obv likes messi more...its unfair on haaland but we all know any other manager would do it 7
  • @
@abdulmusawerfatalast year Pep is saying this and thinking that we are stupid who we will believe in his words😂 1
  • @
@franklinmaldonado1246last year No one knows the players the most than their coaches. 1
  • @
@United2004last year Clearly done it to stop him from breaking messi record 9
  • @
@otakugamer1347last year He is Messi's loyal knight and he will do everything to protect messi
  • @
@jamalalkhatib8458last year Nah he bout to be slide tackled the Norwegian way 😂 1
  • @
@hassankhatib2225last year I don't know if anyone else has noticed that Pep subs him off nearly every game he starts lol, nothing special here 17
  • @
@alitiktokreact7437last year Let the lad achieve what he can it’s not easy to get a this kind of opportunities especially in champions league
  • @
@FootyByAshlast year Pep can do what he wants, after all he is the manager❤😂
  • @
@gamingwithishmam3946last year Because you are ronaldo fan thats why you are saying this 7
  • @
@i97531last year Pep wants Haaland not to score six goals yet, that he will try again. 😄 1
  • @
@a7_2897last year I agree with you. He’s just holding Haaland’s brilliance from shining.
Young? Like wtf? if he can, he CAN
    1
  • @
@luqman8704last year I'm with you bro, I think the same reason 😂😂 2
  • @
@omar-rb7wclast year Lewandowski just scoring 5 goals in 9 minutes 1
  • @
@warrickanderson6814last year Allow him to dream bigger, achieve what no one else has yet
  • @
@haotinlensingson9798last year I do think Pep did this to protect the record but on the other hand Haaland is still not satisfied with that and he will be hungry to break the record and score more goals
Imagine if he broke the record, he'd be satisfied and might become a bit lazy😅
    ...
    1
  • @
@maxvonatzigen6090last year He also did it so that Alvarez could play some minutes 1
  • @
@shadowthenoobblaster1870last year And This is when Erling Haaland became Haalandberg.
  • @
@ballsackerylast year Literally a once in a lifetime event at that level and he didn't have the balls to let it play out
  • @
@bluejayredemption6462last year That honestly makes sense. Stopping Harland from beating a record would keep his hunger.
  • @
@fashionclassiilast year Pep is just a majestical genius if you asked me.
  • @
@golaneducat7464last year i was a fun of pep... always playing him like a manager in fifa until now.... that''s just not fair 1
  • @
@1ksubswithnovideos081last year Thats one way to motivate and achieve one's goal 1
  • @
@airlinghaaland8150last year He is absolutely correct although haaland has been mature from a long time and has discipline in his life , pep doing this just gives him more of a hunger to score and achieve , and leveling a record is also holding one
  • @
@Sui63last year I think pep did that to save Haalands battery 1
  • @
@DragonGamer-ly3lf9 months ago Pep once said that no one is better than Messi and Ronaldo🐐🐐
  • @
@MrFootball93last year he wanted his rage to become even more
  • @
@maireosullivan894last year Haaland still broke the record 62 minutes vs 90 minutes 1
  • @
@avikeshramdohin6242last year We all know the truth.. even thou he was 22 or 23.. it's not always you have the chance to score that much and build your name in history.. 1
  • @
@typicalindiannortheastguy9229last year Absolutely correct. He did because of messi.. 1
  • @
@trendzgamingent5727last year Such moments don't happen often. He had to let him be and atleast fail to break it after playing 90. If Haaland never gets to break this record I believe he will never blame anyone other than Pep. And truth is that Pep just protected Messi's record ...
  • @
@Bhaoooolast year The very first image of Messi and Pep bro 😂😂😂
  • @
@ellis_2007last year He’s already broke a lot of records this season 😂
  • @
@jayjoesadoptedsonbenjaminlast year Everyone saying, Pep is smart this that. No. Deep down he probably didn’t want Erling to break it because he loves Messi so much. It’s stupid. Let him break the record at 22-23. And if Pep is so good, then let Erling break his own record… AGAIN.
So dumb to take him off
    ...
    1
  • @
@ranjitthakur3507last year club should fire him from manager post so that he will keep his hunger. 1
  • @
    @fishy2584last year That's actually a solid tactic
If you have everything you have no motivation anymore
