@katrinat.3032قبل 9 أشهر One more thing: buy olive oil with the red about olive oil.Iorg seal. It’s like a red circle or a ball that has an olive leaf or olive twig in the middle and it says certified quality. That ensures that your olive oil is 100% olive oil. A lot of the olive oil, that you buy in stores is actually a mixture of olive oil with other types of oil. That’s why they sell it so cheap. ....وسعت 2

@dunitasbrotton8788قبل 8 أشهر Extra Virgin Cold Press( means that the juice of the Olive is obtained by just pressing the Olive whith huge stones. When it is done like this, it is the id="hidden13" class="buttons"> best quality. It is expensive because you need a lot of olives to extract a litre of oil, the olive tree needs a lot of years to grow, an good Olive tree can live 100 years , if it is 10 years old you can get enough olives, in a good year an olive tree can produce 50 Kg of olives, but it will produce only 4 to 8 litres of ExtraVirgin Olive Oil) After you have pressed the Olive , some more oil can be stracted from that residue by a chemical process, that oil CAN NOT be called Extra Virgin Olive oil. They called it simply Olive Oil. Olive oil is a colour between yellow and green. They used to call it " liquid gold" because of its colour and value. It smells fruity and green. ....وسعت 1

@pinschrunnerقبل 9 أشهر The olive oil industry is purified! Most olive oil in the grocery store is NOT even plive oil at all, but rather cheap seed oil or a mixture ofmolive oil with a cheap seed oil. Keep your oils in a cool dark place. 1

@jodiburnett6211قبل 9 أشهر Olive oil cannot last long in my kitchen because I use it constantly. On air pop popcorn, yum! Thank you for the tip when shopping.
  • @
@dorothysay8327قبل 9 أشهر Most grocery olive oil is crap. 80% of the stock is adulterated with other crap oils like sunflower and canola and vegetable.
Check online for those brands that have been third-party tested and are actually EVOO.

  • @
@AwaitingTheBlessedHopeقبل 9 أشهر FYI: Many olive oils are rancid and adulterated with toxic, unhealthy oils (canola, safflower, sunflower, corn, soybean, etc). True extra virgin olive id="hidden19" class="buttons"> oils rare and more expensive than run of the mills. Check the North American Olive Oil Association (NAOOA)'s tastings and recommended brands. @lissajediقبل 9 أشهر I work for Food Lion, and that particular oil is part of my department. I have never seen our olive oil look like that! It's always a green shade, id="hidden21" class="buttons"> varying in darkness depending on it it's light, extra virgin or pure. That should have been returned to the store it was purchased at, and it would be part of our double your money back guarantee. That way they could report it to the warehouse in case a recall needs to be done. ....وسعت

@meghoughton562قبل 8 أشهر I LOVE Trader Joe's for just about all of my oils, vinegars, seasonings, and condiments. They are very fairly priced, and the quality is always good.
  • @
@janetlynn3397قبل 8 أشهر Also look at where your olive oil comes from. It's best if it's from one place. If its from multiple places it may have other ingredients in it.
  • @
@reidweaverقبل 9 أشهر A good olive oil will be packaged where the olives grew and will say so on he label. Also it should be used within 2 years of packaging, which is also id="hidden27" class="buttons"> on the label. The best will have high polyphenols, which fights inflammation. There’s no sense buying olive oil for your health if you buy junky olive oils. Those tend to be adulterated. ....وسعت

@somerskye2750قبل 9 أشهر I don't think chlorophyll can evaporate but the oil can oxidize. U need be cautious when purchasing olive oil bc i read they will dilute it with other cheaper oils, so it's not 100% olive oil.
  • @
@gmfutubeقبل 9 أشهر Over half of all oil being sold as olive oil in the US is hazelnut oil mixed in. This is a huge problem Italy keeps trying to crack down on.
If it is a bargain, it probably isn't real olive oil.
