When stem cells are obtained from living human embryos (embryonic as opposed to adult stem cells), the harvesting of these cells necessitates destruction of the embryos, which is controversial in the U.S. I'm thinking that that's why you would have to travel outside of the US to get this procedure. Many folks believe that harvesting tissue from aborted children is not ethical. During the 90's Chinese athletes were given turtle blood to drink. That's when the Chinese women were so dominant especially in swimming. Oh, by the way, they received IV “vitamin” injections as well. Coincidentally, between 1990 and 1998, 28 Chinese swimmers tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs, almost half the world total of drug offenders in sport. My advice is to beware of “vitamin” injections! ...

@stellars42573 years agoHebs, Hyper-oxygenation can shift your Oxygen dissociation curve to the left. Long story short making it difficult for your hemoglobin to release O2 at the cells and uptake Co2 to then release at your lungs. To much oxygen like everything is not necessary a good thing. Likely why you didn't shine in your workout. ...2
