My solo winter expedition to climb Mt. Katahdin (Hamlin & Baxter Peak) in Maine. On Jan. 18th, 2014, I reached the summits as part of my quest to hike the New England 4000-Footers solo in a single winter season. To read about this adventure, and more adventures, please visit my blog: http://dmoutdoors.blogspot.com/2014/04/mt-katahdin-baxter-hamlin-peak-solo-in.html

@dmithsmith5880منذ 8 سنوات I am hoping to climb it this January with my buddy. I thought you were not allowed to do it solo and you need to have a equipment check before going up ?

@roxannegordon6162منذ 9 سنوات Why is it that so many of these videos play hillbilly twang banjo music? Is there something about mountains that require backwoods music? Me and my hiking id="hidden3" class="buttons"> partner love the mountains and we play violins in an orchestra. Seems like this video would be more enjoyable with something less intrusive with a few commentary's on what we are seeing. That way I won't have to turn off the sound like I often have to do. ....وسعت
