‘Abandoned by authorities’: Mossman residents slam govt over lack of relief

Residents in Mossman, Queensland, describe the events of Cyclone Jasper as like a “wall of water”, Sky News Weather Presenter Rhiannon Elston says. “People’s entire lives have been brought outside on the street,” Ms Elston told Sky News contributor Steve Price. “Some people in this community, they really have lost everything. “What we’ve been told is that there really wasn’t much notice before the flood hit. “Some people who have lived here for decades say they have never seen anything like this before.”
