The traditional mango pickle especially made for marriage sadhya ( feast) or special occasions like Onam , Vella Manga Achar is delicious and easy to make.
Ingredients:
Raw mango 200 grams
Carrot 150 grams
Green chili 15
Curry leaves 5 stems
Ginger 2 inch piece
Garlic 20cloves
Mustard 2 teaspoon
Fenugreek 1 teaspoon
Vinegar 1/4 cup
Water 1/2 cup
Salt as required
Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
Gingelly( Nallenna) oil 50 ml
Asafoetida powder 1 teaspoon
