Prepping For Total Grid Shutdown

My power company needs to do some work next weekend on the power lines and they've sent everybody a letter saying they need to turn off the grid in our area!!! Whoop!!! Keep reading for more... No news on the heating system yet or the log burner, just spending all my time processing cells still but I will get there.
