August 17th is National Nonprofit Day! The purpose of today is to raise awareness of nonprofits and their role in local communities. Nonprofits can be a wide range of organizations helping those in need, providing health resources, education, help support cultural institutions, and so much more! As a local nonprofit museum, the vision of the Sacramento History Museum is to inspire and connect people through history. This is through our museum exhibits, tours, events, programs, and growing more and more everyday: our social media.
