When I was in medical school at Cornell, some 15 years ago, I had the pleasure to watch Dr Lee perform a CABG. He is an absolute beast. A surgical GOD, if there ever were one. He’s precise and extremely efficient. To this day, I have never witnessed anyone operate like him. He is masterful. Like poetry in motion. ... 166

    @azsra3l4623 years ago I’m a heart clinician and just in case you don’t know, 4 cases by 4pm is incredibly fast. Especially with a double valve on the 2nd case. There are some surgeons that take until 4pm to do 1 case! Fastest surgeon I’ve ever worked with does 4 cases by 6pm. How amazing. ... 462

    @cavedweller20003 years ago ...a standard phone call, one he probably makes a dozen times a week, to let a relative know a "minor" surgery went well...however never underestimate the relief felt by the relative on the phone. You can tell by the way the woman gasps...this guy is one of the many true heroes of this world ... 45

It really is a team effort from the Anesthesiologist, RN circulators, surgical technologists, to the room attendants that help turn over the ORs between cases! These teams work hard! ... 76

    PACU nurses, circulation nurse, surgical techs, sterile techs, anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist, acute care, cna, LPN. All of them. ...
