How to remove the offset weight from the shaft of the electric motor inside the DR Fresh Velocity Turbo Power Battery Powered Toothbrush. I use these vibrating toothbrushes as the power unit for several of my projects. They are cheap as they come from Poundland and 99p Stores. I expect they may appear with different names and packaging in other shops. They are a complete package including an on/off switch, a battery, and an electric motor with an offset weight. This makes them ideal for a vibrating bristle bug or any other item that relies on vibration to provide the motion. On my electric toy car I didn't need the vibration effect so it was necessary to remove the weight.
