@whitewalker9862قبل 10 أشهر Honestly I prefer creating my character for more immersiveness, but I don't have any problem with a woman protagonist as long as the character is written id="hidden8" class="buttons"> good. Gamers never had a problem with this issue either, because when you go far back Lara Croft was one of the first video game superstars decades ago. The main concern is some developers are using female protagonists as diversity check points instead of a good developed character and using the characters sex as a shield for bad writing. We've seen too many of those lately in any medium from games to movies and tv. Just write a good character no matter sex or race and people will embrace. ....وسعت 49

@Cr0wsMurd3rقبل 10 أشهر When it comes to the protagonist of a game I will always prefer the ones where I can choose whether I want to play a male or female, even full char customization. id="hidden13" class="buttons"> But IMO, games like Mass Effect, Deus Ex: Invisible War and even Cyberpunk 2077 has done it best when it comes to a fully voiced protagonist.
Personally I'd even say that I prefer a "silent" protagonist because it elevates the roleplay options when you dont have to spend money on every dialogue option the protagonist needs to say which in turn can actually make conversation actually matter. lets take Fallout 4 as an example where dialogue does not matter at all, no matter what you say it's still basically just "Yes, No, Next".
And let's not forget that what we all wanted from an open world Star Wars game was a heavy RPG experience, where we create our own character. Outlaws looks pretty decent from what I've seen, but it's not the game I personally wanted at all. and it's Ubisoft, the company that's been creatively bankrupt for like a decade. I withold judgement until the game is out.
On another note, I am very worrie about Starfield and its AMD partnership. The last game with an AMD partnership we saw have/had alot of technical issues. namely Jedi Survivor, a game which does not get a stable 30 FPS on rigs with recommended hardware and tons of ghosting graphics. And let's not forget halves native resolution as a standard. Shit game, technically. worse than CP2077 for me at least, by alot. ....وسعت 28

@scotth.janowski2590قبل 10 أشهر Thing is gta 6 news was leaked years ago. Game informer had an article about it some months before heists were first announced 7 or 8 years ago now. I id="hidden17" class="buttons"> remember cuz I had the magazine at one point and if I remember it right the article said that the leak was so suddenly silenced and announced as false that it took everyone by surprise. Part of it was also that the main characters according to the leak were suppose to be an all female cast of either bank robbers or people forced to do it or face some kind of repercussions. @aaronw937قبل 10 أشهر I feel like a lot of those issues with Gender player characters could be fixed if gaming companies adopted the mindset of Valve by allowing mods to be id="hidden19" class="buttons"> developed for games. Make it the responsibility of the gamer to modify the game and change the character to someone they prefer. With new tech like Metahumans it could be easier to allow people to create character models they prefer, instead of moaning about being forced to play a specific character gender or appearance. ....وسعت 86

@JachAnenقبل 10 أشهر I'd always prefer to make a custom character, but if the game is good, it doesn't really matter what gender or race the character has, it didn't id="hidden21" class="buttons"> hold me back playing Horizon and definitely wouldn't prevent me from playing a SW game.
I do get that with Outlaws, players don't get to play Han Solo or pretend they are him and that in AC, you don't get to play a regular samurai but a Yasuke inspired one, and it's kind of sad being so close to getting a game you really wanted only for this little thing to get in the way and sour it.
But not everyone has that kind of reason for being mad at the gender and race choices, that's where the "isms" seems appropriate, although there are other weird cases like the Fable one, they really messed up that face, I have see pictures of the actual woman behind it and I can't believe she's happy about it either ....وسعت 9

The bow and the polearm allowed them a reach advantage that made them workable, but they still couldn't do long battles due to stamina. as for blacks in japanese history they were an oddity, so having one serve in a court as such was not exactly odd but they were rare and there is no record I can find of one being accepted into a shinobi clan. ....وسعت

Like gameplay for example, after using nexus mods for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War to enable id="hidden40" class="buttons"> the ability to select multiple abilities at once instead of having to choose one at a time changed the game and I mean for the better, it is literally a night and day difference. Sekiro has that too, I enhanced the refresh rate to 144hz and zoomed out the camera to maximum distance and know I can see the whole battlefield and it changed the game again, now it feels like an arena combat game like Doom Eternal , allowing me to effectively engage targets across the field without feeling it being cheap because I can't who's shooting me. ....وسعت 4

I was pretty underwhelmed but it should be decent id="hidden45" class="buttons"> fun to run around and shoot things in the nice looking environments. The things i see people saying that they expect in the game are fucking wild though,it would all be amazing but extremely unlikely. Ive got nothing against that main character,not enough info to really judge yet but if im going to be stuck to more normal combat like we see here(compared to be a jedi with force powers and mostly melee) I better look really badass like Boba or a mandalorian or something of that sort not some regular looking smuggler with a cute pet ....وسعت 2
