Les anesthésiques locaux en médecine dentaire

Abstract: L’administration  des anesthésiques locaux fait partie de notre routine quotidienne. Elle peut être réalisée efficacement et en toute sécurité. Des complications peuvent survenir: elles sont rares, souvent bénignes mais parfois potentiellement graves. Une connaissance profonde, la maitrise des techniques d’injection ainsi qu’un bon interrogatoire réduisent énormément les taux d’incidents. Le chirurgien-dentiste est appelé à être bien préparé et équipé pour intervenir adéquatement en cas de complications. Conférencier : Prof Georges Aoun " Lebanon" Prof. Georges AOUN got his Bachelor in Dental Surgery and Doctorate in Dental Science degrees from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Dental Medicine (LU, FDM). He also received a Master of Science in Removable Prosthodontics from Saint-Joseph University (Lebanon). He is Professor and the current Chairman of the Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Radiology Department and member of the Research Council at the LU, FDM. Former director of Master of Oral Medicine, former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Lebanese Dental Association-JLDA, he serves as Senior Lecturer and Postgraduate Tutor in Oral Diagnosis and Pathology and Head and Neck Anatomy. Prof. AOUN has more than 50 international publications among them 35 indexed in Pubmed. He lectures regularly at national and international meetings.
